Your TAFEcard is important because it’s your ID while enrolled with us. You need to carry it with you while on campus. It has your name, student number, and photo. It's valid for the whole time you're studying with us.
Your TAFEcard can be used for many things.
This includes:
identification for exams and assessments
borrowing books from the library
photocopying and printing
travel concessions (if you’re eligible)
access to student discounts
access to parking and secure areas like computer labs.
When your enrolment is complete, visit customer service at your local TAFE NSW and ask for your TAFEcard. You’ll have your photo taken and card prepared.
If you can’t get to campus, you can submit an online application for a TAFEcard [PDF, 994 KB] using a digital image.
Your TAFEcard will stay valid while you’re enrolled with us. You can also use your card for future study, so keep it safe after you finish your course.
If you have lost or damaged your TAFEcard, you can order a replacement card for a fee.
