    Upskill in your creative career and learn about the user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design processes with Adobe Creative Cloud. Craft a well researched prototype for an app that looks engaging and feels intuitive for a user.

    Learning outcomes

    Through a mixture of theory and practical course work, learn to:

    • explore the UX design process by conducting research, applying design thinking, collaborating with stakeholders and creating user personas and user journeys

    • navigate the UI design process by developing wireframes, defining look and feel, building prototypes, testing with users and refining designs through optimisation

    • use industry tools including Photoshop, Illustrator and Figma to create and refine designs.

    Entry requirements

    This course requires evidence of previous experience or study before you can enrol.

    • Successful completion of the Statement of Attainment in Introduction to Graphic Design Skills, or

    • Equivalent portfolio of evidence to demonstrate a working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.

    Entry recommendations

    To be prepared for this course, we recommend that you have:

    • professional interest in learning about user experience and user interface design

    • an interest in learning Figma

    • reading and writing skills to at least Year 10 level.
