Learning Outcomes

Through a mixture of theory and practical course work, learn to:

  • Launch, control, and land or recover a remote aircraft

  • Operate aeronautical communications

  • Take still photography and videography during flight

  • Use programs to generate 2D and 3D live mapping and produce volumetric calculations

Through this course, you will gain some of the requirements needed for certification by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA). You will also gain an Aircraft Radio Operator Certificate (AROC) which is needed to communicate with other airspace users, such as other aircraft within the vicinity of an airport.
