This course is currently scheduled on Monday 5.30pm-8.30pm, Tuesday 5.30-7.30pm and Wednesday 5.30-8.30pm via microsoft teams. This timetable may change and will be confirmed by your teacher.
Assessments give you the opportunity to demonstrate what you have learnt and to identify the knowledge or skills that may need further development.
Knowledge assessments: short answer, multiple-choice questions, extended response, assignments
Skills assessments: projects, case studies, demonstrations under observation
Work placement provides you with opportunities to respond to situations and circumstances that cannot be replicated in a learning or simulated environment. Work placement strengthens your training and supports continued learning and assessment in the workplace.

Courses are made up of a combination of both core and specialty units. In the Certificate IV in Business (Administration) qualification, you’ll need to successfully complete 12 Units of competency, including 6 core and 6 speciality units.
Core units are central to the job outcomes of a particular industry or occupation. These are the units industry has agreed are essential to be capable and qualified at a particular study level.
You will attend a TAFE NSW campus or Connected Learning Centre to connect with your teachers and other students in a virtual classroom where you will participate in learning activities via video or web conferencing technology. Much like a regular class, you will have scheduled times of attendance. Depending on what you are studying, your course may also include some online units or practice training though our network of Mobile Training Units.
The TAFE NSW Nambucca Heads Connected Learning Centre (CLC) is a state-of-the-art facility providing greater access to skills training and employment outcomes to people in northern NSW. The CLC will give the local community access to digital technologies, such as simulations and virtual learning experiences, and offer a greater number of courses and flexible study options. From education support to business, and from visitor information services to hospitality, there's a course to equip you with the skills you need for the job you want.
