    Flex your creativity and create inspired, sustainable fashion designs. Work in a virtual environment with CLO3D software to visualise, test and refine patterns through digital sampling. This course is brought to you by the Centre of Excellence in Sustainable Fashion + Textiles, a partnership between TAFE NSW and the University of Technology (UTS), Sydney.

    Learning outcomes

    During this course you'll learn to:

    • Use 2D tools for patternmaking and sewing and complete 2D stitching

    • Apply 3D tools to simulate fabric and textures

    • Draw a design on a 3D avatar to generate a pattern to speed up the design process

    • Create patterns from a digital pattern block

    • Design a new style after manipulating a pattern

    • Apply fabrication and texture to your design and take the style to a rendered image

    Course outcomes

    You'll leave this course with:

    • A Certificate of Attendance

    • A potential pathway for further study in CLO3D and fashion design

    • The skills and ability to use CLO3D software to create and modify realistic 3D garments before production
