Overview About this course

This is a customised pathway to enable Marine Engineer Class 3 (NC) holders and other local Marine Transport Professionals not elsewhere classified, to pursue higher qualifications in Diploma and Advance Diploma in Marine Engineering, leading to AMSA Certificate of Competency. This AMSA approved course is built on the following competencies mentioned in STCW Code Table A-III/1 column 1: • MARB013 - Maintain and repair marine electrical and electronic equipment, • MARB014 - Maintain and repair shipboard machinery and equipment, and • MARC018 - Employ tools, equipment and materials in a shipboard context.
