To be prepared for this course, we recommend that you have:

  • A passion for performing or creating music, either at school or in a self-taught capacity

  • Enthusiasm or experience in recording or creating sound

  • An interest in learning the business side of the music industry

  • Collaboration skills to work in a group, in rehearsals and in studio teams

Units Units taught in this course

Courses are made up of a combination of both core and specialty units. In the Certificate II in Music qualification, you’ll need to successfully complete 8 Units of competency, including 3 core and 5 speciality units.
