    Through a mixture of theory and practical course work, learn to:

    • coordinate and support screen production activities

    • create stories for scripted and reality productions

    • make short films and documentaries from idea to final cut

    • edit video, dialogue, sound and add digital assets

    • record clear sound in different locations

    • set up filming locations and use audio and video equipment.

    To be prepared for this course, we recommend that you have:

    Units taught in this course

    Courses are made up of a combination of both core and specialty units. In the Certificate IV in Screen and Media (Film and Video Production) qualification, you’ll need to successfully complete 13 units of competency, including 4 core and 9 speciality units.
