    Entry requirements

    This course requires evidence of previous experience or study before you can enrol.

    • A teacher will contact you to confirm this is the right course for you. They may ask you to complete a Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) profile. This helps ensure you’re placed in the right class and can access support if needed.

    • If you’re an early school leaver aged under 17 and do not have a Record of School Achievement (RoSA), you must contact the teaching section for more information.

    Units taught in this course

    Courses are made up of a combination of both core and specialty units. In the Certificate II in Career Preparation (Foundation Skills) qualification, you’ll need to successfully complete 14 units of competency, including 14 core and 0 speciality units.

    Please note, not all specialty units are offered at every TAFE NSW location. It is highly recommended that you check with your preferred campus for information about the specialty units offered at that location.
