Cultural Diversity Scholarship

The Cultural Diversity Scholarship was established by the Northern Settlement Services and the Hunter TAFE Foundation as a means of providing financial support and encouragement to students who identify as being from a non-English speaking background and are studying with TAFE NSW in the Hunter or Central Coast regions.

There are five (5) scholarships available each valued at $500.

Closing date: 5 pm Monday, 19 August 2019

You must be enrolled at TAFE NSW in the Hunter or Central Coast Region.

  • You must identify as being from a non-English speaking background.
  • You must be enrolled with TAFE NSW in the Central Coast or Hunter regions.
  • You must be a deserving individual who has consistently applied themselves to achieving their career goals and would benefit from the support and encouragement provided by this scholarship (to be validated by a referee).

What is the value of the Cultural Diversity Scholarship?

There are five (5) scholarships available, each valued at $500. New students are encouraged to apply however, if successful, you must be enrolled in a TAFE NSW qualification at the time of receiving the scholarship. If you are not enrolled in an eligible TAFE NSW qualification, you will not be eligible to receive the scholarship.

The committee charged with selecting the Cultural Diversity Scholarship will comprise of TAFE NSW and/or Hunter TAFE Foundation representatives.
