The Regional Development Australia (RDA) Hunter Aviation Award
The Regional Development Australia (RDA) Hunter Aviation Award was established in 2023 to support a TAFE NSW student enrolled in the Certificate IV in Aeroskills at TAFE NSW Newcastle, who demonstrates excellence and consistency throughout their studies. The award will be judged based on practical assessment and teacher review.
The award is an extension to the existing partnership between TAFE NSW and RDA Hunter, to support a skilled workforce in Aviation and the economic growth of the region.
The award is valued at $2,000.
Closing date: 5pm Friday, 15 September 2023
Applicants must be:
- open to students who are currently enrolled in the Certificate IV in Aeroskills delivered out of TAFE NSW Newcastle Campus (Tighes Hill),
- not be in receipt of another award or scholarship presented by the Hunter TAFE Foundation,
- applicant must accept Terms and Conditions outlined in the Scholarship,
- incomplete applications will not be accepted.
Applicants must be:
- currently enrolled in the Certificate IV in Aeroskills delivered out of TAFE NSW Newcastle Campus (Tighes Hill),
- is committed to their studies and demonstrates excellence, integrity, and collaboration,
- ability to clearly outline their future career goals and aspirations,
- is motivated to work in the Aviation industry and would be a great ambassador for TAFE NSW, RDA Hunter and the Hunter TAFE Foundation,
- participation in events/ marketing activities, with RDA, to share their learning journey with others, where possible.
