The Andy Lindsay Memorial Award was established by Sandra Lindsay, Managing Director of Musos Corner, in memory of her son Andrew 'Andy' Lindsay. Andy was an exceptional musician and an inspiring business leader who truly embodied the spirit of Newcastle’s Musos Corner.
Andy generously provided the TAFE NSW Newcastle music department with equipment and support whenever it was needed. He was also an integral part of the world-class production studio installation now used by TAFE NSW students. Each semester in 2026, Musos Corner donates a $1,000 voucher to a musically-minded student to purchase equipment for studies and future careers.
A collaboration between the Hunter TAFE Foundation and Musos Corner, the award supports students studying Music and Production courses at TAFE NSW in the Hunter or Central Coast regions. As always, the successful students must show a strong dedication to their studies while overcoming any obstacles to reach their objectives.
Applications for the Andy Lindsay Memorial Award close at 5 pm (AEDT) Friday, 20 March 2026.
