    Apply now for a Bean Counters Encouragement Scholarship

    Are you a numbers person? Are you motivated to work in finance or accounting?

    If you are studying at TAFE NSW in the Hunter or Central Coast regions, this scholarship can help you achieve your career goals. We know that pursuing your dream profession can be financially challenging, and this scholarship acknowledges your dedication to your studies.

    Two scholarships will be awarded, valued at $1,500 each. This financial support aims to reduce study expenses and help you complete your course, so you can enter the workforce with confidence.

    Applications for the Bean Counters Encouragement Scholarship close at 5 pm (AEDT) Friday, 20 March 2026.

    Who can apply?

    To apply for the Bean Counters Scholarship, you must:

    • be enrolled in the Certificate III in Accounts Administration (FNS30322) or Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping (FNS40222) at a TAFE NSW campus in the Hunter or Central Coast, or with our Online Campus
    • live or study in the Hunter or Central Coast regions
    • explain how personal or financial challenges affect your studies
    • demonstrate commitment to your studies and career goals (for example, by listing your achievements, creating an action plan, or identifying your skills and strengths)
    • demonstrate positive academic records, attendance and values to represent TAFE NSW and the Hunter TAFE Foundation
    • not have received a scholarship from the Hunter TAFE Foundation in the 12 months prior to 20 March 2026.
