    If you have a passion for creative expression and an interest in a dynamic career, studying fashion design and merchandising is a great choice. Open to TAFE NSW Newcastle students serious about style, the Moreen Edith Fashion Scholarship helps reduce the costs of pursuing your creative career.

    This scholarship, delivered by Hunter TAFE Foundation, provides financial support while you’re studying a Diploma of Applied Fashion Design and Merchandising. This means you can focus on your studies and equip yourself with industry-ready skills and knowledge, without financial challenges. There is one Moreen Edith Fashion Scholarship available for 2024, and it’s valued at $2,000.

    Who can apply?

    To apply for a Moreen Edith Fashion Scholarship, you must:

    • be enrolled in the Diploma of Applied Fashion Design and Merchandising at TAFE NSW Newcastle
    • reside or study within the Newcastle local government area or surrounding areas
    • explain how you will use the scholarship funds to support your study and career goals
    • be a good student and represent TAFE NSW and the Hunter TAFE Foundation well. You can demonstrate this by sharing positive grades and attendance records, character traits or values
    • not have received a scholarship from the Hunter TAFE Foundation for one year before 1 June 2024.
