    Apply now for the Newcastle Airport and Astra Aerolab Scholarship

    Are you studying the Certificate II in Aeroskills (MEA20418) at the TAFE NSW Newcastle campus (Tighes Hill)?

    Delivered by the Hunter TAFE Foundation, the Newcastle Airport and Astra Aerolab Aviation Scholarship will provide two students with $2,500 each to support their studies.

    This scholarship extends the partnership between TAFE NSW, Newcastle Airport and Astra Aerolab. It aims to nurture local talent and produce the skilled professionals needed to support this global industry.

    Applications for the Newcastle Airport and Astra Aerolab Scholarship close at 5 pm (AEDT) Friday, 20 March 2026.

    Who can apply?

    To be eligible for the Newcastle Airport and Astra Aerolab Scholarship, you must:

    • be enrolled in the Certificate II in Aeroskills (MEA20418) at the TAFE NSW Newcastle campus (Tighes Hill)
    • live in the Newcastle, Hunter or Central Coast regions
    • not hold another award or scholarship presented by the Hunter TAFE Foundation
    • accept the terms and conditions
    • complete the application process in full.
