    Apply now for a Zonta Club of Hunter Newcastle Scholarship

    Are you a female student committed to your studies at a TAFE NSW campus in Newcastle or Lake Macquarie?

    Valued at $1,000, the Zonta Club of Hunter Newcastle Scholarship is designed to support a female student on their learning journey.

    The award is presented in collaboration with Zonta International, a leading global organisation that invests in education initiatives to empower women and promote gender equality.

    The successful recipient must be available to attend the Zonta International Women’s Day Dinner on 8 March 2026.

    Applications for the Zonta Club of Hunter Newcastle Scholarship close at 5pm (AEDT) Tuesday, 24 February 2026.

    Who can apply?

    To apply for the Zonta Club of Hunter Newcastle scholarship, you must:

    • be female and aged 21 years or older
    • be an Australian citizen
    • be enrolled in a TAFE NSW course in the Newcastle or Lake Macquarie local government areas
    • demonstrate commitment to your study and career goals. You can do this by listing achievements, creating an action plan or identifying your skills and strengths
    • be a good student and represent TAFE NSW and the Hunter TAFE Foundation well. You can do this by sharing positive grades and attendance records, character traits or values
    • not have received a scholarship from the Hunter TAFE Foundation for one year before 24 February 2026.
