    Are you a female student at a Newcastle or Lake Macquarie TAFE NSW campus? If you’re committed to your studies, why not apply for the Zonta Club of Hunter Newcastle scholarship?

    The scholarship, in collaboration with Zonta International, is worth $500 and will support one female Newcastle or Lake Macquarie student on their learning journey.

    Zonta International is a leading global organisation that invests in education initiatives to empower women and promote gender equality.

    Who can apply?

    To apply for the Zonta Club of Hunter Newcastle scholarship, you must:

    • be female and aged 21 years or older
    • be an Australian citizen
    • be enrolled in a TAFE NSW course in the Newcastle or Lake Macquarie local government areas
    • demonstrate commitment to your study and career goals. You can do this by listing achievements, creating an action plan or identifying your skills and strengths
    • be a good student and represent TAFE NSW and the Hunter TAFE Foundation well. You can do this by sharing positive grades and attendance records, character traits or values
    • not have received a scholarship from the Hunter TAFE Foundation for one year before 23 February 2024.
