    • Apply the elements of design, including line, form, space and texture

    • Mix and apply colour to a painting

    • Use a camera effectively to take a photo

    • Apply simple photography techniques, including composition and light

    • Create a finished artwork, which can include a completed print, a drawing and studies, a painting and studies, or a photographic artwork

    Course outcomes

    You'll leave this course with:

    • A completed artwork, including lino cuts and monotypes or an expressive botanical drawing. You could create still life portraiture or an outdoors suburban landscape, short and long poses with studies, or a photographic artwork.
