
Design for manufacture with advanced CAD. Build complex assemblies and produce precision, industry-ready documentation. This course is part of the Manufacturing Centres of Excellence (MCoE) program. To be eligible, you must live in NSW.
During this course you'll learn to:
manage complex assemblies using advanced constraints and relationships
apply global dimensioning and tolerancing to support precision manufacturing
design production-ready fixtures
apply Design for Manufacture (DFM) principles to injection moulding, additive manufacturing, machining, fabrication and assembly processes
create sheet metal components
produce complete drawings and technical documentation for complex manufacturing projects.
