Through a mixture of theory and practical course work, learn to:
Manage client briefs
Set up marine structures
Repair and maintain vessels of all types
Understand timber and composite boat construction
Work in a range of marine environments

This course requires evidence of previous experience or study before you can enrol
To take this course as an apprenticeship you need to be employed as an apprentice in the industry as evidenced by a letter of support from your employer and

To be prepared for this course, we recommend that you have:
A methodical approach to problem solving
A willingness to work in different environments, including confined spaces
Have an interest in boating
Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) at a Year 10/12 high school level
