Entry requirements

This course requires evidence of previous experience or study before you can enrol

  • Prior Certificate III in Live Production and Services as evidenced by a copy of your transcript OR

  • An interview with our teaching staff to determine you have a level of knowledge, skills and experience in the music industry equivalent to the Certificate III in Live Production and Services

  • After applying for this course, TAFE will contact you with information about how you can provide us with the information we need to determine your suitability for this course.

Completion requirements

During your study you’ll need to provide your teacher with the following evidence:

  • A patient attitude and the ability to alternate between intense periods of work and lengthy periods of waiting

  • The ability to occasionally attend rehearsals, functions, and live performances outside of class hours if needed, potentially on evenings and/or weekends

  • Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) at a Year 10 high school level

  • TAFE NSW may ask you to complete a Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) skills test.

  • This skills test helps us to understand your individual study needs, to design an individualised plan that supports your study success and ensures your LLN skills match the demands of the course.
