Entry requirements
This course requires evidence of previous experience or study before you can enrol.
A Certificate IV in Live Production and Technical Services as evidenced by a copy of your transcript, or
Attend an interview with our teaching staff to determine you have a level of knowledge, skills and experience in the live production industry equivalent to the Certificate IV in Live Production and Technical Services.

During your study you'll need to provide your teacher with the following evidence:
Entry recommendations
To be prepared for this course, we recommend that you have:
a patient attitude and the ability to alternate between intense periods of work and lengthy periods of waiting
the ability to occasionally attend rehearsals, functions, and live performances outside of class hours if needed, potentially on evenings and/or weekends
please note that course work includes lifting, carrying and connecting live production equipment
Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) at a Year 10 high school level.

Units
Units taught in this course
Courses are made up of a combination of both core and specialty units. In the Diploma of Live Production and Technical Services qualification, you’ll need to successfully complete 15 units of competency, including 4 core and 11 speciality units.
Please note, not all specialty units are offered at every TAFE NSW location. It is highly recommended that you check with your preferred campus for information about the specialty units offered at that location.
