The Newcastle Lord Mayor’s Arts Scholarship supports TAFE NSW students studying the arts in the Newcastle Local Government Area (LGA). The award helps cultivate local creative talent and fosters innovation in the arts community.

Scholarships valued at $1,000 are available to TAFE NSW Newcastle students who identify as female, are part of the LGBTIQA+ community, or come from culturally diverse backgrounds. The program aims to create opportunity and foster inclusion.

Teachers can nominate an outstanding student studying the Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice (CPP41419) at TAFE NSW Cessnock, Maitland or Newcastle for this scholarship.

Valued at $2,500 each, the Varley Group Scholarships support TAFE NSW students in the Hunter and Central Coast regions. These awards are open to students studying qualifications aligned with Varley Group's operations, including Engineering, Marine, IT, and Automotive.

The Walkom Education Scholarship supports Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students enrolled in Early Childhood Education and Care courses at TAFE NSW in the Hunter and Central Coast regions.

Valued at $500, the Walkom Real Estate Encouragement Scholarship supports students studying the Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice (CPP41419) at TAFE NSW in the Newcastle and Hunter regions.

A $3,000 scholarship to assist with the tuition fees for eligible applicants studying jewellery design, jewellery manufacturing, or visual arts.

A $3,500 contribution towards the tuition fees of one student currently studying an accredited jewellery design, design or visual arts course at TAFE NSW.
