Get help accessing government funding
There are multiple financial assistance options available to employers, via government funding programs and TAFE Enterprise can help find out what funding your business and employees have access to.
Australian Government funded training programs
The Australian Government provides funding for programs that your current or future employees may benefit from. The following are current programs funded by the Australian Government:
- Youth Jobs Prepare Trial and Hire (PaTH)
- Australian Apprenticeship Support Network (AASN)
- ABSTUDY (Away from Base)
- Skilling Australia Fund (SAF)
- Skills for Education and Employment (SEE)
- Adult Migrant English Program (AMEP)
NSW State Government funded training programs
The NSW State Government funds a range of initiatives that help employers pay for specific training programs.
Currently, there are subsidised fees for training solutions with skills outcomes that match a high skills need, as identified under the NSW Government's Skills List as part of Smart and Skilled funding.
Additionally, trainees who have not held a Certificate IV or Diploma qualification previously can access a number of subsidised places, with additional incentives available for pre-apprenticeship training and traineeship funding.
