International Student Scholarships

TAFE NSW is committed to helping you build specialised skills, gain qualifications and achieve your personal and professional goals.

Below are the scholarships that are currently on offer.

15% Higher Education scholarship

• Applicants will be assessed on merit by the scholarship panel
• 15% credit applied each semester to your TAFE NSW international Higher Education course tuition fees
• $1000 (AUD) credit applied to your course tuition fees for selective Higher Education courses. (These courses are not eligible for 15% Higher Education scholarship).

$500 Vocational course scholarship

• Applicants will be assessed on merit by the scholarship panel
• Available for selective Vocational courses 
• $500 (AUD) credit applied to your Vocational course tuition fees

Applications close: 5pm (AEST) on the course commencement date in your offer letter.

Australia Awards Scholarships

The Australian Government offers Australia Awards Scholarships through the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. The scholarships aim to contribute to the developmental needs of Australia's partner countries by providing financial support to study in Australia.

The scholarships have country-specific eligibility requirements and your study program must relate to your country's priority areas for development.

What’s included?

• Full tuition fees
• Return air travel
• Contribution to Living Expenses (CLE)
• Introductory Academic Program (IAP)
• Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC)
• Pre-course English (PCE) fees–if deemed necessary.
