This qualification reflects the role of hairdressers who use a range of well-developed sales, consultation and technical skills and knowledge to provide a broad range of hairdressing services to clients. They use discretion and judgement to provide client services and take responsibility for the outcomes of their own work. This qualification provides a pathway to work as a hairdresser in any industry environment, usually a salon.
You will learn how to cut, colour, chemically reform and style your client's hair. You will also learn about client communication and service which includes discussing the needs of your client and styling according to their requirements. When you finish this course and the on-the-job training you will be able to work as a qualified senior hairdresser.

COURSE STRUCTURE AND UNITS
To receive the Certificate III in Hairdressing students must complete all core units and, if available, a range of additional units.
