Scholarships - International - Semester 2, 2021
TAFE NSW Scholarship – Semester 2, 2021
TAFE NSW is committed to helping International students develop specialised skills and attain the qualifications they need to achieve their personal and professional goals.
Each awarded scholarship has a total value of AUD$2,000, which will be applied as AUD$1,000 credits against your course tuition fees in Semester 2, 2021 and Semester 1, 2022.
The Scholarship amount is not transferable or redeemable for cash.
Closing date: 5pm (AEST), 30 June 2021
To be eligible for the Scholarship you must meet all of the following requirements:
- you must be a new international Student who is enrolled or intending to enrol at TAFE NSW in an approved VET or Higher Education course that has a minimum duration of 1 year and commences in Semester 2, 2021, or a current international Student enrolled at TAFE NSW who has completed a course and is enrolled in a new approved VET or Higher Education course that has a minimum duration of 1 year and commences in Semester 2, 2021. However, you must not be a current Student who is continuing to study in Semester 2, 2021 as part of a packaged course offer. ELICOS only Students or Students who have packaged with ELICOS commencing in Semester 2, 2021 are also not eligible;
- you must meet all of the applicable TAFE NSW enrolment requirements, including visa requirements; and
- unless otherwise approved by TAFE NSW, you must commence your approved VET or Higher Education course in Semester 2, 2021 and cannot defer your commencement date.
Any Scholarship awarded is on the basis that you maintain an active enrolment status in your course. Your Scholarship may be terminated if your enrolment status changes (e.g. you withdraw from your course) or your visa status changes.
If you are awarded the Scholarship, any other TAFE NSW scholarship, grant or bursary that you currently hold will be rescinded.

Australia Awards Scholarships
The Australian Government through the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade offers Australia Awards Scholarships which provide financial support for citizens of specific countries to study in Australia.
The scholarships have specific eligibility requirements and your study program must relate to your country's priority areas for development.
