    International application

Use the International Student Application Form to apply for a course as an international student. It collects the information we need to assess your application under the TAFE NSW Admission Guidelines.

Read the International Student Management Procedure for more information. See our Steps to Apply web page for a guide to the application process.

    International terms and conditions

Our International Terms and Conditions are a written agreement between the student and TAFE NSW. They explain the obligations of an international student and TAFE NSW in line with the ESOS Act 2000 and National Code 2018.

Under 18s accommodation and welfare arrangements

If you’re an international student under 18, TAFE NSW has procedures in place to support your safety and wellbeing.

Read the International Under 18 Student Welfare Management and Orientation Procedure to understand how we support international students under 18 with approved accommodation and welfare. This is a requirement under the Education Services for Overseas Students (ESOS) Act 2000 and the National Code 2018.

Use the Under 18 Student Accommodation and Welfare Arrangement Form to apply for accommodation and welfare arrangement for under 18 international students.

View the TAFE NSW Registered Homestay Providers List to see the approved homestay providers registered with TAFE NSW.

If you’re an international student planning to travel (in or outside of Australia) while under 18, you’ll need to request approval and complete the Under 18 International Student Travel Approval Form. Travel must be approved by TAFE NSW to ensure your welfare and safety.

If you’re under 18, visit our under 18s accommodation and welfare page for more information.

Credit transfer or Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

The Credit Transfer / Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Form can be used by international students to apply for Credit Transfer or Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) based on previous study and/or experience.
