Through a mixture of theory and practical course work, learn to:

  • Remove and install advanced and miscellaneous aircraft electrical hardware/components

  • Fabricate and/or repair aircraft electrical hardware or parts

  • Inspect, test and troubleshoot advanced aircraft electrical systems and components

  • Use electrical test equipment in aviation maintenance activities

  • Remove, install and certify avionic system components

Licensing

This is a licensed occupation. When you successfully complete the Statement of Attainment in LME019 Instrument - B1 Licence Exclusions E5 and E7 Removal you can apply to the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) for the removal of the relevant exclusions from your licence.
