Through a mixture of theory and practical course work, learn to:
Identify and follow work health and safety (WHS) requirements
Accurately calculate and document fabric amounts based on fabric width, pattern size and pattern requirements
Cut pattern pieces to meet requirements, confirming fabric suitability and make necessary corrections
Operate equipment safely and cut lay accurately to meet specifications
Prepare clear and accurate lay-up instructions as required
Assemble components to meet product requirements and quality standards
