To be eligible to enrol in this course you need to meet the following requirements:

To make sure this delivery option is the right fit for you, we will need you to demonstrate that you can meet the additional requirements below.

To be able to successfully complete this course, you will need:
- access to a computer and internet for some research activities and completion of quiz assessments. You will require a reliable internet connection.
- to be reasonably, physically fit to undertake the First Aid practical assessment in Strathfield, which requires students to be physically able to perform CPR on the floor for a period of six (6) minutes, in multiple scenarios. You will also need to be capable of moving around on the floor to perform scenario assessments in small teams, including bandaging and operating an AED (Automatic Emergency Defibrillator).
It is recommended that you complete this course within 1 week including the practical session. You have a 6 month period from your enrolment to book in for your practical session. It is a requirement that the quizzes are completed prior to your attendance at the practical session, which is held in Strathfield, NSW 2135.

To be prepared for this course, we recommend that you:

Physical ability to kneel on the floor to perform at least 2 minutes of uninterrupted single rescuer CPR (5 cycles) on an adult manikin placed on the floor
