    Entry requirements

    This course requires evidence of previous experience or study before you can enrol

    • Successful completion of the Certificate IV Cyber Security or equivalent during the last 5 years, as evidenced by a copy of your certificate or transcript, or

    • Current skills (within the last 3 years), as evidenced by your resume

    To be prepared for this course, we recommend that you have:

    • Strong digital literacy skills

    • Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) at a Year 12 high school level

    Courses are made up of a combination of both core and specialty units. In the Diploma of Information Technology (Advanced Networking, Cyber Security) qualification, you’ll need to successfully complete 20 units of competency, including 6 core and 14 speciality units.
