Richmond

The TAFE NSW Richmond campus is situated in the Hawkesbury Valley on the traditional lands of the Dharug People. The Hawkesbury Valley, just an hour northwest of Sydney, is renowned for colonial heritage, Aboriginal history and the scenic Hawkesbury River. The valley is also a key catchment and agricultural area for the city of Sydney.

TAFE NSW Richmond campus' extensive facilities include those for blacksmithing and farriery, a quarter-size horse racing track, an indoor dressage area and stables for eight horses. There are facilities for cat foster care, climate-controlled animal care and aviaries. This campus also offers fully equipped, simulated veterinary nursing labs.

For students with agricultural interests, an eco-skills training centre, livestock handling facilities and science laboratories are all available. Additionally, a horticultural centre of excellence featuring croquet lawns, glasshouses, landscaped gardens, and a nursery and orchard are all onsite to enrich your student experience.

Our Richmond campus, surrounded by agricultural land, is a five-minute drive from the towns of Richmond and Windsor, and a 20-minute walk from East Richmond train station. At TAFE NSW Richmond you’ll find a forward-thinking approach to sustainability, renewable horticulture and livestock management. The focus on industry, community and learning expertise is how TAFE NSW helps our students change lives, by catering to the evolving needs of industry practice.
