• Current enrolment or completion of the Certificate IV in Interior Decoration as evidenced by a copy of your transcript, certificate or enrolment letter, or

• Current enrolment or completion of the following units of competency: CUADES302, CUADES303, MSFID4016 and MSFID5018. This can be evidenced by a copy of your transcript, certificate or enrolment letter.

• A portfolio demonstrating your photography and digital imaging work that demonstrates the application of technical skills and knowledge equivalent to Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) level 4 or above

You must demonstrate that you have achieved one of the following:

• • A NSW Higher School Certificate (HSC) or its equivalent or
• • A Certificate IV in Tertiary Preparation or its equivalent or
• • A completed certificate IV or higher vocational qualification

You must also

• • Submit a portfolio of artwork to demonstrate your creative talent. This must include 8-10 examples of your creative work related to your chosen discipline and be sent to Maryjane.griggs@tafensw.edu.au . These can be sent as pictures and attached as JPEGs
• • Attend a pre-admission interview where you may also be asked to complete a short literacy and numeracy task - this helps us to understand how we can support your study success and provide you with any necessary support

Note:

• • Your certificates, transcripts and other entry requirement evidence must be certified through a Justice of the Peace or other authorising officer

• graduates of the Diploma of Creative Practice go on to entry level roles in the arts sector or work in their creative field.

• You'll need to provide evidence of your technical and organisational skills to conceptualise and create works in your selected medium.

• You may have acquired such skills and knowledge through experience in creative practice or formal study.

• Have a creative portfolio either digital or physical, with 10 to 15 examples of artwork that demonstrate skills and knowledge including drawings, paintings, photographs, sculptures, journals with drawings

• Conceptual, technical and organisational skills to create and present work in your chosen creative form. You will have gained these skills through formal study or from your experience in a creative field, as evidenced through a transcript, resume or extensive studio practice
