Entry recommendations

To be prepared for this course, we recommend that you have:

  • An interest in exploring the clay medium

  • Perseverance – wheelforming takes time to get the basics but is very rewarding as you build confidence through practice

  • The ability to pay for the clay used in your works (approximately $50) and to provide your own ceramics tools (approximately $20)

  • An awareness that this course may be potentially physically demanding on your back
