    Licensing

This is a highly regulated industry. To be employed as cabin crew you will need your First Aid Certification and a Responsible Service of Alcohol competency card. You will also need to apply for an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC). This is required by flight crew flying at security controlled airports and can be obtained through ASIC issuing bodies. Depending on your state or territory or the airline, you may need to meet other regulatory requirements. It’s important that you understand these requirements before enrolling in this course. Vist the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (https://www.casa.gov.au/licences-and-certification/individual-licensing) for more information. Issuers will require a letter from an employer stating the reason why an ASIC is needed.
