Licensing

This is a licensed occupation. After you successfully complete The Statement of Attainment in Licence to operate a boom-type elevating work platform (boom length 11metres or more) and have fulfilled all other eligibility criteria, you will need to apply for a boom-type elevating work (EWP) platform licence with SafeWork NSW. They are the licensing and regulatory authority in NSW. - You will need to be at least 18 years old to be eligible to sit the unit of competency assessment for high risk work licences - You will need to provide proof of NSW residential address - You will need 100 points for identification for the SafeWork assessment - You will need to pay a processing fee - There will be no access to interpreters during the safe work assessments Visit SafeWork NSW for more information.
