Young

TAFE NSW Young is adjacent to the picturesque Carrington Park and has been providing training to the community and surrounding districts since 1941. TAFE NSW Young has a new multi-million dollar state of the art training facility while still embracing it’s historic roots. The campus offers courses up to an Advanced Diploma level in the areas of Engineering, Transport, Electrical, Administration and Management, Vocational Access, Community/Disability Services, Child Care and Aged Care.

Widely considered the “cherry capital of Australia”, Young is an advanced agricultural centre that is home to many orchards, vineyards and parklands, and also provides disability and community services, child centres and health and aged care facilities. Young is centrally located in the "Hilltops" Wine and Food region and the National Cherry Festival runs in early December.
