Adjacent to the picturesque Carrington Park, TAFE NSW Young has been providing education and training to the Young community and surrounding districts since 1941 and has developed strong links with industry in the area. A heritage building dating back to 1876, the campus offers courses ranging from a Statement of Attainment to an Advanced Diploma level in areas of Engineering, Transport, Electrical, Administration and Management, Vocational Access, Community/Disability Services, Child Care and Aged Care.

Outside the TAFE you'll find a town rich in character and with a diversified industry base. Widely considered the “cherry capital of Australia”, Young is an advanced agricultural centre that also provides disability and community services, child centres and health and aged care facilities. Young is centrally located in the "Hilltops" Wine and Food region and the National Cherry Festival runs in early December.
