    Work placement

    • To be enrolled in this course, you need to be able to provide evidence that you are:

      • over 21 years old, living in NSW or living in Australia intending to work in nsw, able to provide evidence demonstrating skills, training, practical experience and employment assosiated with the hairdressing industry.
    • To successfully complete this course, you will need:

      • to demonstrate competency in all 28 units. This will require you to complete all live models requried within each of the 28 units to a compentent level, addressing all apects of the each assessment.
      • To complete this course you must be able to provide evidence of employment within the hairdressing industry. This could consist of a signed letter from the employer (please note letter must be on letter head with company details and abn).

    UnitsUnits taught in this course

    Courses are made up of a combination of both core and specialty units. In the Certificate III in Hairdressing qualification, you’ll need to successfully complete 28 Units of competency, including 21 core and 7 speciality units.

    Core units are central to the job outcomes of a particular industry or occupation. These are the units industry has agreed are essential to be capable and qualified at a particular study level.

    Course deliveryCombination study

    Learn through a combination of classroom based, online and/or workplace activity. For example, you may participate in scheduled classroom activity, have an element of self-directed learning with online content, and/or receive supervised training while on the job, doing work experience, or on placement.

    Classroom activity will be scheduled, but online learning can provide more flexibility. Teacher support will be provided for all study. Access to a computer with an internet connection is required.
