Do you know a deserving student to nominate for the Central Coast Campus Friends Equity Award?

The vision of Central Coast Campus Friends is to help members of the community achieve their potential through education. The award is given to one student pursuing further study and a career on the Central Coast. Teachers or Student Support staff can nominate outstanding students for this award by completing and submitting the online nomination.

As the Central Coast experiences significant population and demographic growth, the demand for jobs in the area also grows. TAFE NSW is committed to meeting the needs of our students and industry.

Nominations for the Central Coast Campus Friends Award close 5 pm (AEST) Friday, 2 September 2026.

To be eligible for nomination for a Central Coast Friends Award, the nominee must:

• a current student studying at TAFE NSW Gosford, Ourimbah or Wyong
• a Central Coast resident
• a student that can demonstrate a community to the local community, study and their career goals. They can do this by volunteering in their local community, listing achievements, creating an action plan to identify their skills and strengths
• be a good student and represent TAFE NSW and the Hunter TAFE Foundation well. Demonstrated by sharing positive grads and attendance records, character traits or values
• not have received a scholarship from Hunter TAFE Foundation or TAFE NSW within the previous 12 months.

To nominate for a Central Coast Friends Award, you must:

• be a teacher of an eligible student and provide comments and examples about the nominated student
• complete and submit the nomination form in accordance with the nomination process.

TAFE NSW offers a range of support services for students, including free and confidential counselling.
