Do you know a deserving student to nominate for the Central Coast Campus Friends Equity Award?

The vision of Central Coast Campus Friends is to help members of the community achieve their potential through education. The award is given to one student pursuing further study and a career on the Central Coast. Teachers or Student Support staff can nominate outstanding students for this award by completing and submitting the online nomination.

As the Central Coast experiences significant population and demographic growth, the demand for jobs in the area also grows. TAFE NSW is committed to meeting the needs of our students and industry.

Nominations for the Central Coast Campus Friends Award close 5 pm (AEST) Friday, 2 September 2026.

To be eligible for nomination for a Central Coast Friends Award, the student must:

• be currently studying at TAFE NSW Gosford, Ourimbah, or Wyong
• live in the Central Coast region
• demonstrate commitment to their local community, study, and career goals (for example, through volunteering, listing achievements, or creating an action plan)
• demonstrate positive academic progress, strong attendance, and align with TAFE NSW and Hunter TAFE Foundation values
• not have received another scholarship or award from the Hunter TAFE Foundation or TAFE NSW in the last 12 months

To nominate a student for a Central Coast Friends Award, you must:

• be a TAFE NSW teacher of an eligible student and provide supportive comments and examples with your nomination
• complete and submit the online nomination form before the closing date

TAFE NSW offers a range of support services for students, including free and confidential counselling.
