The vision of Central Coast Campus Friends is to help members of the community achieve their potential through education. The Central Coast Campus Friends Award consists of a generous $1,000 donation. This is awarded to one student pursuing further study and a career on the Central Coast. Whether you choose to apply or nominate someone, you will need to complete the relevant sections of the application form that apply to you.
As the Central Coast experiences significant population and demographic growth, the demand for jobs in the area also grows. TAFE NSW is committed to meeting the needs of our students and industry. The Central Coast Campus Friends Award provides an amazing opportunity for teachers to nominate a deserving student.

No. We understand that it can be frustrating, but the process requires a nomination from your teacher. It's important to have all the necessary information filled out by the nominator to support your application.
The teacher could nominate a student solo. But it's important to consider you will require a student’s personal information and ensure they feel comfortable signing the declaration form with witnesses.
Any awarded scholarship is contingent on enrolling in a specified course and maintaining an active enrolment status. If your enrolment status changes (e.g. if you withdraw from your course), there is a possibility that your scholarship may be revoked. Also, if you're awarded the scholarship, any other TAFE NSW scholarship, grant, or bursary currently held by you will be rescinded.
Please remember that TAFE NSW offers multiple support services to students, including free counselling services. We understand that sharing your personal or financial circumstances may be emotionally challenging, so please don’t hesitate to access these services if you need support.
You can arrange an appointment with a counsellor by phoning 131 601 and selecting option five, then option 2. You can also use this option to access disability services or referral to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander student support services.
