    The vision of Central Coast Campus Friends is to help members of the community achieve their potential through education. The Central Coast Campus Friends Award consists of a generous $1,000 donation. This is awarded to one student pursuing further study and a career on the Central Coast. Whether you choose to apply or nominate someone, you will need to complete the relevant sections of the application form that apply to you.

    As the Central Coast experiences significant population and demographic growth, the demand for jobs in the area also grows. TAFE NSW is committed to meeting the needs of our students and industry. The Central Coast Campus Friends Award provides an amazing opportunity for teachers to nominate a deserving student.

    Who can apply?

    To apply for a Central Coast Friends Award, you must:

    • be a current student studying at TAFE NSW Gosford, Ourimbah and Wyong
    • be a Central Coast resident
    • demonstrate commitment to your local community, study and career goals. You can do this by volunteering in your local community, listing achievements, creating an action plan or identifying your skills and strengths.
    • be a good student and represent TAFE NSW and the Hunter TAFE Foundation well. You can demonstrate this by sharing positive grades and attendance records, character traits or values.
    • not have received a scholarship from the Hunter TAFE Foundation for one year before 1 September 2024.

    Who can nominate?

    To nominate for a Central Coast Friends Award, you must:

    • be a teacher of an eligible student and provide comments and examples about the nominated student
    • complete and submit the nomination form in accordance with the nomination process.
