SafeZone

SafeZone is a free safety application, for Android and iPhone used by TAFE NSW to assist with keeping you safe on campus.

Note: SafeZone will only work after full registration has been completed and whilst at a TAFE NSW campus.

SafeZone can be used to:

  • Connect you with TAFE NSW Security Control room
  • Enable TAFE NSW Security Control Room to communicate with you, sending you location-specific, real-time updates on emergency and security related issues
  • Call ‘000’
  • Check-in manually or automatically at a campus (when enabled on a mobile device)
  • Share your GPS location and the progress of an alert (Alert Sent/Alert Acknowledged)

Getting started

You will be prompted to register a SafeZone account when you download the app and complete the sign-up process. It requires very little data and won’t drain your battery.
