After falling victim to domestic violence herself, Kara Jayne has made it her mission to help others in a similar situation. For her passion for supporting rural communities and commitment to her career she was also awarded with a $6,000 Royal Agricultural Society (RAS) Foundation Scholarship presented by the Governor of New South Wales, The Hon. Margaret Beazley AO, the Patron of the RAS.

Samantha Hicks is on the path to success after choosing to upskill at TAFE NSW after her three children had grown. She decided to study a Certificate III in Business Administration and then a Certificate III in Business (Medical) and is now furthering her knowledge in a Certificate IV in Business Administration.

Former TAFE NSW Lithgow student, Simon Colagiuri, is taking advantage of opportunities in the industry after turning his love for exploring the outdoors into a thrilling career path. After studying a Certificate III and IV in Outdoor Recreation, he is now working as a group leader at Somerset Outdoor Learning based at the Colo River near Richmond.

TAFE NSW student and Quirindi resident, Meagan Holden, is taking full advantage of new opportunities in the education support industry. After experiencing learning difficulties as a child she wanted to help give other children the best start in life. She chose to study a Certificate III in Education Support at the TAFE NSW Connected Learning Centre in Quirindi and is now working casually as an education aide at Blandford Public School.
