TAFE NSW graduate Wendy Love has been appointed as Chief Engineer of the MV John Cadman III and now represents the small cohort of women who make up less than 1% of engineers in the male-dominated maritime industry. When Cadman Cruises acquired The Cadman, she was given the opportunity to take on a senior technical role once she had completed a Certificate III in Maritime Operations online with TAFE NSW, to gain the necessary knowledge and skills to get a Marine Engine Driver Grade 2 Licence.

Artem Nosovtsev is set to achieve his dream of pursuing a high-demand career in nursing on the Central Coast, which according to Jora Australia currently requires 2,131 roles to be filled. Mr Nosovtsev said his dreams are starting to become a reality since completing a Diploma of Nursing, with him working two jobs as a Scout Nurse at Tuggerah Lakes Private Hospital, and an Advanced Responder with St John Ambulance.
