  • Experience to construct floristry products like bouquets, posies, arrangements and basic wired work
    Ability to display and merchandise floristry products
    Real-world experiences (where possible) at the Sydney Flower Market to experience the wholesale trade of flowers, sundry suppliers to learn about the tools and equipment needed to create your arrangements, or flower farms to hear about farm processes to grow specific varieties of flowers
    Strong pathways to continue your floristry studies and enhance your career opportunities

Entry recommendations

To be prepared for this course, we recommend that you have:

  • Literacy and numeracy skills at a Year 10 or equivalent level
    Reasonable level of fitness to stand for a minimum of 3 hours, and lift up to 5 kilograms in weight
    Ability to complete practical assessments
