This course requires evidence of previous experience or study before you can enrol.
Successful completion of the Certificate III in Plumbing (General Plumber) as evidenced by a copy of your transcript, or
Certificate IV in Plumbing and Services (Operations) as evidenced by a copy of your transcript

To work on containment devices, you need to be a licensed plumber and hold the accreditation for backflow prevention. You’ll need to register your Statement of Attainment with the water authorities of the jurisdictions you perform work in, such as Sydney Water or Hunter Water.
