  • TAFE NSW offers the Certificate III in Electrotechnology - Electrician as an apprenticeship. There may also be options available for you to study as a non-apprentice.

  • To be eligible for this course, you must:

  • Be employed as an apprentice in industry

  • Register with an Apprenticeship Network Provider who will support your application

  • Enquire today and one of our Apprenticeship and Traineeship team will help you understand any eligibility or entry requirements.

  • You may be eligible to enrol in Certificate III in Electrotechnology – Electrician as a non-apprentice if you meet TAFE NSW enrolment requirements noted below:

  • Currently in paid employment working under the supervision of a licenced electrician in the electrical trades industry performing a broad scope of electrical work including domestic, commercial or industrial applications. You and your employer will be required to take part in a pre-enrolment interview with a teacher to determine if you meet the enrolment requirements.

  • It is important to know that there is no government subsidy available for this study option. Talk to our team about your payment options.

  • Language, literacy and numeracy to Year 10 high school level

  • Customer service, collaboration and consultation abilities
