How do I enrol?

At TAFE NSW you can apply or enrol to do a course.

If your course has no entry requirements, you can enrol directly. If there are entry requirements, you will need to apply to be accepted for a position in the course.

Go to the TAFE NSW website to view the course you are interested in
Check if there are any entry requirements, as you may be asked to supply additional information
Select a course location to progress your enrolment
Follow the prompts to complete
You will receive an email confirming your enrolment or application status

How do I know if I’m eligible to apply for a course?

To study at TAFE NSW, you may need to meet certain requirements.

Age: The minimum age for enrolment at TAFE NSW is 15 years. Some courses may require students to be a certain age due to industry regulations or legal requirements
Residency status: If you are an Australian citizen, a permanent resident, a temporary visa holder or on a visa that allows you to study, you can apply to study at TAFE NSW.
Entry requirements: Entry requirements for TAFE NSW courses vary depending on the course you choose. Please check individual course entry requirements
English language requirements: You may be asked to complete a Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) skills test so we can provide you with the appropriate level of support for your success.

International students are required to complete an internationally recognised language proficiency test.
