navigate the Advance Steel workspace and manage project files
set up grids, coordinates and structural layouts
model 3D elements like columns, beams, plates, connections and concrete foundations
copy, mirror, move parts and create or manage joints
check your model, apply numbering and make drawings
create material lists, export NC/DXF files and manage documents and changes.
You'll leave this course with:
A Certificate of Attendance/TAFE Statement in Advance Steel.

To be prepared for this course, we recommend you have:
some experience using 3D AutoCAD or another CAD program
a basic understanding of technical drawings, construction documents or reading plans
some experience in construction, engineering, detailing or fabrication
access to a computer with internet, Windows 365, webcam and headset.
If you’re attending on campus, bring a USB headset with a microphone. TAFE NSW computers do not support Bluetooth.
