Work placement
Work placement provides you with opportunities to respond to situations and circumstances that cannot be replicated in a learning or simulated environment. Work placement strengthens your training and supports continued learning and assessment in the workplace.
There is no work placement for this qualification.

Work Placement is a requirement of this course. You will need to complete:
- a range of practical assessment tasks in the real and/ or simulated health care environment to achieve the competency in the course.
- either at a 1-2 days face to face workshop, or you may organise your own workplacement to complete the tasks in a real health care facility.
There are no nominated workplace hours required for this course. Please contact the teaching section for more information on workshops.

Units taught in this course
Courses are made up of a combination of both core and specialty units. In the Certificate III in Health Administration qualification, you’ll need to successfully complete 13 units of competency , including 5 core and 8 speciality units.

Course delivery
Studying Online
Learn online. Unlike virtual classrooms, you won't have a timetable. All your course content will be available online for you to access at any time of the day from a computer with internet access.
Your online course will include collaboration with your teacher and other students through online platforms. Your teachers are available and will provide you with support throughout the course.
You may be required to attend a vocational work placement, on campus assessment and/or a teacher might need to observe and assess you in a real or simulated environment.
