    • To be enrolled in this course, you need to be able to provide evidence that you have:

      • Basic computer literacy skills, such as using word processing and emails.
      • Some experience of the community services industry and mental health services – this experience must include one of: being already employed in the industry, having completed other community services qualifications or having significant life experience in this area.
    • To successfully complete this course, you will need:

      • Existing skills and knowledge; Laptop and internet access; Level 4 proficiency
    • Documents required before starting workplacement:

      • Volunteer Working with Children's Check, Criminal Record Check -$24.90
    • Organisations that agree to offer work placements for students must also be provided with the student’s WWCC and be reminded of their obligation to check the validity of the provided WWCC.

    Units taught in this course

    Courses are made up of a combination of both core and specialty units. In the Diploma of Mental Health qualification, you’ll need to successfully complete 20 units of competency, including 15 core and 5 speciality units.
