experience using computers and technology
a passion for being creative

the knowledge and understanding of the skills the industry needs
completed a Certificate III in Screen and Media or have equivalent industry experience.
You can plan your work and try to solve problems on your own.
You can understand documents you see often in everyday life.
You can write short sentences and paragraphs that others can understand.
You can speak clearly and explain your thoughts in a group.
You can do everyday maths like working out prices or reading a timetable.
You can use digital tools to do everyday tasks like writing or finding information.

The Certificate IV in Screen and Media (Animation and Visual Effects) does not have any post-graduate courses.

Courses are made up of a combination of both core and specialty units. In the Certificate IV in Screen and Media (Animation and Visual Effects) qualification, you’ll need to successfully complete 13 units of competency, including 4 core and 9 speciality units.
Please note, not all specialty units are offered at every TAFE NSW location. It is highly recommended that you check with your preferred campus for information about the specialty units offered at that location.
